Notable: Richard Lee
For years, he has been running a Public Access show in Seattle called “Now See It Person To Person: Kurt Cobain Was Murdered.” In the process of creating his weekly episodes for this show, he has questioned public officials in embarassing places, and even been arrested more than once. He can often be seen at City Council meetings and other public gatherings with his mini-DV camera.
He ran for City Council twice and Mayor twice. During a mayoral candidate debate forum in 2001, he wore a dress and spent his allotted time questioning Greg Nickels about Kurt Cobain’s death.
Crazy or not, I think he is one of Seattle’s more “interesting characters.”
