Dee Dee has been a very influential woman in my life. I was fortunate enough to have her as a creative mentor and a parental figure in my life. Pictures exist of Dee Dee and I, as a child (growing up in her household), but the photos are most clear in my mind’s eye. I’ll never be able to express how important she has been to me.
